A good book that I recommend is “The Fellowship Of the Rings” because it explores a variety of people who try to stop the antagonist Sauron from wielding the ring. Instead, they try to destroy the ring by throwing it into the Crack of Doom. It is generally a very adventurous story.
Frodo Baggins, the beloved protagonist, is a hobbit of the Shire whose quest in this story is to destroy the ring with friends he meets along his journey; his best friends are Merry and Pippin but he also meets companions such as Gandalf, Boromir, and Aragon. Together, they adventure through imaginative settings and meet odd creatures along the way. Their actions and well-described fights allows this story to captivate readers’ attention.
Full of adventure and delightful imagery, this book contains a lot of humour which adds on to my interest in it. An example of humour is when Gandalf and Bilbo were arguing and then Sam entered the room and was confused, and then Gandalf and Bilbo tried to act innocent. Settings are created with powerful imagery which allows me to have good dreams such as magical lands in clouds and dark caves full of gold and with a dragon.
As this book is a humorous and adventurous book, I can imagine any person of any age would love it as it strengthens their descriptive language and strengthens their imagery as well as providing entertaining scenes to imagine.
