Have you ever felt hungry and weren’t sure what food to get? Ippudo is the perfect restaurant for you. Ippudo serves one of the best quality ramen in London: creamy and delicious. When I first discovered the restaurant, I thought it was a regular ramen place who serve the average ramen but as soon as my tongue touched the thin piece of noodle, all my sensations tingled in delight. The creaminess burst throughout my mouth and warmth slid down my throat. I had tasted the best ramen in my life. I would be exhilarated if you could join me in the path of Ippudo.

When I walk down the aisle of different restaurants in Canary Wharf, I can see a large sign with a bowl of animated ramen above me. A friendly member of staff always greets me at the queue. The queue only takes around a minute and during that time, wafts of ramen would awaken me. Inside Ippudo, there are walls covered in a soft surface and warm lighting everywhere. The grand kitchen stays in the middle, where hundreds of spoons are decorated over the top. Sitting down, I can always see the chefs cooking away with all their effort and hundreds of spoons, decorated above your head.

After a couple of short minutes, a smiling waitress will come towards me and gently place a bowl of luxurious ramen on my table. As soon as the ramen goes into your mouth, my eyes shine bright, and my tastebuds go off. The perfectly marinated eggs have a different texture: their surfaces are light brown and their yolk, runny and bright yellow. The more I eat, the greater the taste becomes. The ramen is decorated with herbs and the homemade soup requires hours for the chefs to make; therefore, the ramen is soaked with soup and the flavour is enhanced further.

The only slight negativity is that the prices are fairly judged. I, however, believe it should be like this because the chefs devote their hearts to their food and spend all their enjoyment to make the ramen. The ramen is usually in the price range of £10 - £20. Ippudo was built in 1985, therefore many talented chefs have joined over the years and is the best example of a true ramen restaurant. It is a highly recommended restaurant everywhere around London and I hope you’d like to spend a day to fill up your belly.
