Garry (a casual social boy) said goodbye to his mother and began his journey to walk around the wood. His mother said he should be back at seven o clock for dinner. As he began his adventure, Garry took a wooden hiking pole with him. Little did he know, this would save him from a big disaster.
When he reached the wood, he saw a poster that warned people hiking – hikers would have to be careful of the wolf traps they placed down which were covered in leaves. Totally ignoring the poster, Garry jogged merrily towards the inner of the forest.
Not looking at his feet, he jogged straight into a wolf trap and went plummeting five meters down a hole. Not knowing what to do, he frantically waved his arms wildly and tried climbing the rocky walls. Since wolf traps were designed to encase any wolf in there securely, Garry got tired after a few attempts. Out of nowhere, a wolf stared down at Garry with a laughing mood. Garry asked the wolf, “You are meant to be in here, not me.” The wolf did not reply. “Never mind,” sighed Garry. The wolf plodded away. Running out of options, he started calling as loud as a bulldog until his eyes turned bloodshot. It was no use--he had lost all his hope in climbing the wall and slumped down in a sitting position.
Garry was not a very patient boy and turned crazy after a few minutes of waiting; this happened in the small enclosure. With a red face and arms aching, he knew that it was over for him. Suddenly he remembered about his hiking stick he was holding in his hand. Using it to his advantage, he, with several attempts, barely made it out of the hole by jumping on it. Heart beating, he dashed back to his mother to tell her the overwhelming news.
