Lightening Chaos

The sun was beaming down to the land and the gentle breeze was tossing leaves higher and higher in circles into the sky. Leaves were rustling. Broods in nests were chirping for breakfast. A few of them were snuggling up to their parents. All of a sudden, the leader bird started swaying its wings left to right, directing the rest of the flock away from their home. Rabbits were tunnelling back into their burrows to take shelter.

Greyish clouds started swarming in like a pack of ravenous wolves who were craving for food. The beautiful sun was covering in the clouds. It was a blackout. In the distance millions of lightning bolts zapped down. Peals of thunders were booming everywhere!!!!!!! Two bolts were zapping parallel down to the ground like a giant stomping its feet to a clearing. On its way, it smote animals and trees. The sad thing was that it struck a sheep; it exploded, turning into a piece of cooked mutton and flying through the air towards the clearing.

In the middle of the clearing, Tom curled up with fear like a ball, rolling from side to side hoping that he was safe in bed, all covered up. He wept, “I want my mama!” On the other hand, Bob widened his legs and shimmered his golden teeth while holding a wooden lightning proof umbrella which was made by him. Bob mocked, “Scaredy-cat! You are a noob!” Once Bob confidently held his wooden umbrella high in the sky, a lightning bolt struck it and it shattered to ashes. While Bob was gasping in embarrassment, Splat! A piece of cooked fat mutton came plummeting onto his head. He thought, “Well, this was unexpected!”

Instinctively, Bob bounced up like a spring and dragged Tom along the ground by his arms to flee for their lives. Tom was just lying flat comfortably, feeling satisfied without knowing that his clothes were torn off along the path. After a while, Bob and Tom stumbled into a rabbit hole where they met a rabbit. Then they all joined to dig a gigantic burrow for a shelter.
