A bright vermilion light shone through my eyelids. I could barely move my heavy eyes and I felt a ghastly throb in my head with the rhythm of “Bump 1...2...3...Bump!” At last, I shook myself to my senses and rolled out of my snug bed. Staring at the clock which wrote “4:00am,” my instinct scolded me. As I trudged down the endless staircase, I saw the menacing red light glow in my garden. I was now fully awake and aware of the situation—there was a large rusty machine labelled “Time-Machine.” Immediately, a large grin appeared on my face, and I jumped into the machine mechanism. A futuristic whir gradually got louder and louder until I passed out from the pain.
My headache was even worse now; everywhere around me was just wooden houses and big men laughing and drinking beer. They spoke in a sinister voice, and they all grunted at me, “Ello Mate, whacha do in’ out here without ya parents, eh?” A large chill went up my spine and a foreboding thought came across me. The sky became dark. I approached one man and demanded, “What year is this sir?” He replied, “1904. SIR!” I regretted every fragment of joy I had when I saw the machine and frantically tried finding it; however, it was no use because it had disappeared! I drew a breath, set my teeth, clenched my fists on both hands and began the search for the way home.
Exploring the city too, a tall man around my age approached me and asked, “Did you also get trapped in the time machine?” An eddying murmur filled my ears, and a strange, terrifying confusedness descended on my mind. My eyebrows raised, my jaws dropped, and my bloodshot eyes popped out of their sockets. It was the one and only. Dwayne Johnson. A burst of indescribable, infinite feelings erupted in my brain to the largest limit I could manage. “Uhhhh!” I cried. He smiled and told me that he created the time machine and had to relocate it. I proudly told him that it was at my house and that I accidentally trapped myself in this strange world. He understood me and directed me to his plane. We got on it and I hung out of it with binoculars to spot a red glowing light somewhere. Sadly, power does not run very well in the 1904 and the plane immediately plummeted down to the ground, forcing us to parachute out.
Now, we had no food, we were miles away from the town, and we had no time machine. Dwayne lifted me up and dashed around at the speed of light, causing me to pass out for the third time from shock. When I was unconscious, I dreamed of a wise man with a staff talking to me. He claimed that I was in a dream inside a dream inside a dream and that Dwayne Johnson was fake. I highly was in disbelief yet baffled at the same time. Snapping out of the dream, I asked Dwayne if he was real or fake. He, of course, replied that he was real so I punched him as hard as I could to evaluate the true answer. I felt his warm, hard face. Then, we arrived at it. The red glowing machine whirred in delight to see Dwayne and we launched ourselves into it as fast as we could. A bright white light covered my view, and I was back at home, in my bed and it was still 4:00am. I could not believe the truth, so I decided to forget about this occurrence completely and live life normally. What a good dream or reality that was!
