The journey around the world was more than just going to different places; it was an adventure that changed my life. It all started with a simple idea: to see what was out there beyond where I live. All I needed to get started was a bag. Some food, and a boarding passport. I boarded the first plane that day, without knowing what would happen. Every country had something new to see and every place became a memory I’ll always remember.

In Europe, I walked through the towns; the streets were all old and historic which blew my mind with how life was back then. I visited the Eiffel Tower in Paris and in England. Stonehenge. The food was good but I believe that there was room for improvement. In Asia, I rode busy trains through cities that were loud and bright, visited old temples, and met people who were kind even though they didn’t speak my language. The greeted me politely in their language and were constantly smiling back as I waved to them. In Africa, I saw nature like I’d never seen it before: big open spaces and amazing animals. Also, I met people who were so full of life! In South America, I hiked up mountains, danced, and made friends with “strangers”. I stripped off that title from them in seconds.

By the end of the trip, I have completely changed my old lifestyle, and I have looked at the world differently ever since. Now I understand more about people, different cultures, and even myself. My journey showed me that the world is big, beautiful, and full of stories waiting to be found. Most importantly, it taught me that our journey never ends. This world is extravagant and we are forever travellers.
